Houska Castle - a gate to the hell

  • Meet up: 05/24/2014 7:10 am in Prague at Hlavní nádraží in front of a Vodafone shop. We will buy a group ticket on spot.
  • Departure: 7:25am by train R 1148 Bakov nad Jizerou (arrival 8:47am), then transfer to a train to Bezděz (9:08am).
  • From the train station Bezděz we will go along the green path and then we join the blue path around Vrátenská hora till the castle Houska - so called "Gate to the Hell".
    Then we go along the red path to Mšeno. During the trip we will have lunch at some restaurant.
  • Return back: From Mšeno by train at 4:31pm, transfer in Ml. Boleslav hl. n. Expected arrival to Prague 6:34pm, in case of delay at 8:34pm.
  • Price: train tickets approx 150,- Kč, entrance fee Houska 80,- Kč, lunch at restaurant 150,-- Kč. Approx 380,- Kč.
  • Path: 20 km by walk, demanding route!, we recommend to bring a snack and enough drinking water (please no high-heels :-)),
